Ambulance Bonus Items

Steal Ambulance and press R3 to activate Ambulance mode (must not be in a mission). The following totals do not have to be consecutively. You can do this progressively throughout the game. (You can check your totals in the pause menu)

Save 35 people - a health refill will appear outside any of your save points.

Save 70 people - an adrenaline pill will appear outside any of your save points.

Complete the Ambulance level 12 (16?) and Infinite Run will be granted.

Clear Weather

Complete all Rampages

Once you have completed all rampages, you'll recieve 1 million dollars and your game complete percentage will raise.

Destroy all cars

Dune Buggy

Complete all the Mafia missions in story mode to unlock the Buggy. Go back to Portland and go to the Diablo parking lot (where the mission phone is located for El Burro) between 19:00 to 24:00 to find the Buggy was seen in Joey's garage (during one of mission briefs). It will appear in the same location and change color each time.

Exercise and long run

The more you run, the more stamina your character before he becomes tired. Tapping X repeatedly also can keep your character running for longer periods of time.

Extra money

During gameplay,, press R2(2), L1, L1, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up.

Fire Truck Bonus Weapon

Steal a Fire Truck and press R3 to activate Fire Truck mode (must not be in a mission). The following totals do not have to be consecutively. You can do this progressively throughout the game. (You can check your totals in the pause menu)

Put out 20 fires on each island (Section of the game such as Staton Island or Portland) and a Flame-thrower will always appear at one of your three save points.

Free Shotgun

Every police car contains a shotgun + 5 rounds. Therefore if you enter a police car, after you exit you'll notice you'll have a shotgun with 5 rounds or 5 more rounds if you already have a shotgun in your inventory. Its extremely useful in Portland before you can buy a shotgun at the ammo store.

Hidden Package Bonuses

10 Packages found = Pistol at Hideout.
20 Packages found = Uzi at Hideout
30 Packages found = Gernades at hideout
40 Packages found = Shotgun at hideout
50 Packages found = Armor at hideout
60 Packages found = Molotovs at hideout
70 Packages found = AK47 at hideout
80 Packages found = Sniper rifle at Hideout

Higher Wanted Level

Import / Export Store

At one point in GTA3 you'll recieve a message about an import / export paying money for cars. There are two locations. One in Portland Docks (blue doored buildimg) and the second is in Shorside. Each have a list of cars, that are wanted, you'll recieve $15,000. After delivering all cars for the Porland location you'll recieve $200,000 and 16 GTA pickups, allowing you to get a vehicle of your choice for free. The Shoreside Vale will give you $200,00 and 7 GTA pickups .

Also at the Portland docks there is also an EV crane that will accept various emergency vehicles for cash. There is no posted list of all required cars but they are 1 Police Car 1 Ambulance 1 Fire Truck 1 Barracks OL 1 FBI Car 1 Enforcer 1 Tank (Rhino). You'll recieve $15,000 per car. Deliver all the different vehicles, and you'll get 7 GTA credits allowing you to order any of the Emergancy vehicles.

Improved driving skills

During gameplay, press R1, L1, R2, L1, Left, R1(2), Triangle. Press L3 or R3 to jump while driving. Note: If you save your game, this code will become permanent!

Increased gore

During gameplay, press Square, L1, Circle, Down, L1, R1, Triangle, Right, L1, X Note: If you save your game, this code will become permanent! This works when using the M16 or Sniper rifle.

Lower Wanted Level

During gameplay, press R2(2), L1, R2, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down. Note: If you save your game, this code will become permanent!

Free Tanks (Get a Tank!)

During gameplay, press Circle(6), R1, L2, L1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle. This can be done as many times as needed. Frequent use of the tank cheat can cause all the traffic in Liberty City to disappear, leaving you free to drive around unhindered. Obviously this is a bad thing when you want steal a car and there are none around.

Free Car repairs

Any car(s) stored in a garage after saving will be automatically repaired... In later save points you're able to put more than one car into a garage.

Lose the cops with a save

Save your game with as many cops on your tail as you want, then reload your game. Magically all the cops on your tail are gone. (Note: you cannot save during a mission).

Moon trick

Whenever the moon is visable at night, shoot it with the sniper rifle to make it bigger or smaller.

More Money

During gameplay press R2, R2, L1, L1, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP.

Regain Health (the OTHER way)

Steal any vehicle and drive up to a prostitute (girls with blonde hair where brown outfits, or girls with darker skin and pink tops) walking the streets. Stop and let her approach your car. After a few seconds of talking, she will get in your car. Drive to a remote area where their are no cops around (your hideout or in a park works good). Stop the car, but do not get out. After about two seconds, the car will start rocking back and forth. You will recover approximately 40 to 50 points of health (your money will trickle down a few dollars). After the 'session' is over, she get out of the car and walk away and charge you money. You can get a max of 125 health points (more than just the heart will give you)./ For the more twisted, you can get out of your car and beat her up and take your money back. If you exit the car for any reason during the session, you'll still be charged. You cannot pick up the same prostitute in the same night.

Free prostitute - Pick up a prostitute in a convertible and then drive to your hideout.you get to the hideout, stop the car. The car won't rock at all, but the hooker will get out, and your health will jump up. The only money you'll lose is when she is in the car. When

Taxi Bonus

Complete 100 Taxi missions - a new Taxi called the Borgnine Taxi, will begin to appear in Harwood.

Vigilante Mode (police mode) bonus

Kill 20 criminals on each island - 3 Police Bribes at your save point (1 for each set of 20 killed on each island).

Yardie Lobo hydraulics

The Yardie Lobo (a red car with a white top, covertible with top up) located in the Newport area of Staunton Island has working Hyrdos... As fun as the hydraulics are, you can execute very sharp turns using the hyrdrolics properly when turning All the controlling of the hydros are done (besides lowering and lifting) are done with the Right Analog stick.
